Containerized Water Treatment & Purification Systems

Ozone Water Sterilizers

Ozone Water
Sterilizers are a very effective method of sterilizing water for drinking
and other uses.
Ozone is the
only approved method of sterilization for water bottling in most
jurisdictions.
Advantages
include:
·
Continuing sterilization after treatment.
·
Modest
operating costs
·
Effective
sterilization without adding any unpleasant taste to the water.
Ozone
molecules contain three oxygen atoms [O3] while oxygen molecules
found in the atmosphere contain two oxygen atoms [O2].
The properties
of the two types of oxygen molecules are quite different.
Ozone is a
very potent oxidizer, and as such is effective in pathogen destruction. As
the ozone attacks pathogens, it breaks down into O2 molecules.
Since ozone
has a half-life, it continues gradually breaking down into O2
leaving additional dissolved oxygen in the water.
Dissolved
oxygen is the most important component of good drinking water taste, so such
increase in dissolved oxygen enhances the taste of the water.
In addition to
Water Purification and Bottled Water Plants, there are many other uses of
Ozonated Water to include:
·
Hand
Washing and Sanitizing
·
Meat,
Poultry and Seafood Processing
·
Hospitals. Nursing Homes. Medical Clinics. Dental Clinics.
Laboratories. Restaurants.
·
Solid
Waste Deodorization and Destruction of Micro-Organisms
·
Cold
Water Laundering
·
Aquaculture and Hydroponics
·
Veterinarians. Kennels. Equine Stables.
·
Military
Applications.
Ultra-Violet [UV] Water Sterilizers

Ultra-Violet
[UV] is a very effective method of sterilizing water for Drinking, Cooking
and Other Uses. Advantages include:
·
Very low
capital cost
·
Near-zero
operating costs
·
Effective
sterilization without any change to the taste or other properties of the
water.
·
Other
fluids can also be sterilized by UV.
Ultra-Violet Light waves effectively kill bacteria and viruses when given in
sufficient dosages.
Producing the UV light requires a special lamp containing selected gases
that are excited by the flow of electricity through them, emitting UV Light
Usually, the UV Lamps are contained in quartz sleeves -- or the fluid may
pass through a quartz sleeve. Often, reflectors may be added to maximize the
effectiveness of the UV Rays.
The UV Dosage is calculated to eliminate the pathogens in the contaminated
water, and is measured in microwatts per square centimeter.
Gray Water Recycling Systems
Gray Water
Recycling Systems [GWRS] are specifically engineered to treat waste water
from Showers, Sinks, Dish Washers, Laundry Washing Machines and Other
Non-Sewage Drainage Sources in Apartment Buildings, Hotels and Commercial
Buildings and prepare it for re-use for All Purposes -- except Drinking and
Cooking.
These systems
typically provide for re-use of about 85-90% of the Used Gray Water normally
discharged down the drain.
This saves
dramatically on water usage and eliminates most of the waste water loss,
which is of increasing importance in localities where water is in critically
short supply.
GWRS systems
are designed with several technologies that provide synergism by working in
concert together.
These
technologies include various types of Filtration, Sterilization and
Appropriate Membrane Technology.
Activated
Carbon Absorption is usually applied as an essential part of the system.
Wash Water Recyclers for Steam Cleaners &
Pressure Washers
Wash Water Recyclers offer the ultimate in
Efficiency, Reliability and Quality. Used wash water is recycled using a
compact, self-contained, multi-stage state-of-the-art water treatment
system.
A Flocculant Injection System is used to aid
in the removal of suspended solids that can cause excessive filter
replacement costs. This disinfectant is non-toxic and acts to collect
smaller particles together into clusters for easy removal by subsequent
system components.
The water next enters the Oil and Solids
Separator where oil and grease are mechanically separated from the water for
skimming while solids collect at the tank bottom and flow to the Solids
Collection Tank. An Automatic Oil Skimmer separates and removes oil [along
with some water] to an Oil Collection Tank.
Re-Cycled Wash Water is collected in a
Holding Tank to provide a continuous supply of clean water for washing again
– and again – and again.
Glycol Recycling Systems
GRS-M Membrane-Based Models
Standard GRS-M systems include models that
produce 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 12 and 15 U.S. Gallons Per Minute [GPM] of High
Quality Re-Cycled Glycol/Water Mixture that can be used again as Engine
Anti-Freeze and Coolant.
Custom
models can be manufactured to produce any capacity desired in a variety of
Fluid Re-Cycling Applications.
Membrane-Based Anti-Freeze Recyclers [GRS-M]
are very effective in producing high quality product with Reduced Chlorides
and Lowered Total Dissolved Solvents [TDS] as required for commercial
applications.
Membrane based systems remove all or nearly
all color, all oils, 99% or higher of heavy metals, and all or nearly all
suspended solids. Glycol sources with high oil content should be pre-treated
prior to treatment by membrane-based systems.
In addition to Membrane-Based Reverse Osmosis
(RO) systems, we also offer Filtration Type Anti-Freeze Recycling Systems.
Wastewater & Sewage Treatment
Our Wastewater and Sewage Treatment System
removes the majority of contaminants from Wastewater and Sewage to produce
both a Liquid Effluent and Sludge.
Conventional Treatment of Wastewater and
Sewage in a Normal Activate Sludge System includes Primary Aeration and
Settlement of the Incoming Liquids and Sewage, followed by Final Settlement
of the Sludge and Bio-Mass.
This type of treatment requires regular
removal and discharge of Sludge from the Primary Settlement Tank, as well as
removal of Surplus Bio-Mass from the Final Clarifier.
Extended Aeration -- Activated Sludge
System
We use an even more effective variation of
the Activated Sludge System as a combination of Extended Aeration and
Activated Sludge Technology.
Such combination of technologies is ideal for
Modular Unit Expansion, offering greater flexibility in the design of the
Composite System and Site Lay-Out. The individual units are easy to
install, operate and maintain, while it is possible to make considerable
upgrades at later stages.
Sewage treatment systems that do not employ
Extended Aeration Treatment require continuous draining and disposal of
sludge.
In the Extended Aeration Process wastewater
passes through a Bar Screen that keeps out any large solids.
A diffuser system introduces air into the
aeration chamber. The air bubbles that are generated provide the oxygen
necessary to sustain the bacteria and also provide the agitation necessary
to reduce solids to small particles.
After a suitable retention time, the solution
is displaced from the Aeration Chamber to the Clarifier Chamber. There any
remaining solids settle to the bottom in the form of Activated Sludge that
is returned to the Aeration Chamber to maintain a High Active Bacteria
Level.
The clear liquid at the top of the Clarifier
Chamber flows into the LS3 Wastewater Purification System to kill any
disease-carrying bacteria that remain.
The Activated Sludge Process is a biological
method of wastewater treatment that is performed by a Variable and Mixed
Community of Micro-Organisms in an Aerobic Bacteria Aquatic Environment.
Aerobic Bacteria work much faster than
Anaerobic Bacteria.
An Aerobic System injects and circulates air
inside the treatment tank. Such addition of oxygen accelerates and
speeds-up the Wastewater and Sewage Treatment Process.
The Bacterial and Other Micro-Organism Cell
Mass [Bio-Mass] that is generated by cell reproduction is separated from the
liquid being treated prior to discharge, collected and mixed with incoming
sewage.
The Bio-Mass Recycling Process increases the
rate of decomposition of the solid waste coming into the system since such
incoming sewage almost immediately comes in direct contact with a hungry
relatively-dense population of bacteria. This is called the Activated
Sludge Process.
All of the incoming sewage is food for the
Cell Mass -- generating Cell Activity and Reproduction in the processes
called Respiration and Synthesis.
The Extended Aeration -- Activate Sludge
System totally destroys and eliminates all solid waste products and then
recycles the clean effluent for reuse in Vehicle and Equipment Washing, Fire
Protection, Irrigation of Golf Courses, Trees, Shrubs, Ground Cover and
Flower Beds and Other Non-Potable Uses.
The normal processing time for an Extended
Aeration System is 24 hours to produce High Quality Effluent that after
chlorination meets purity standards to be discharged into a ground
aquifer.
By comparison, our Extended Aeration --
Activate Sludge System is twice as efficient so the total processing time is
reduced to only 12 hours. This allows our system to be only half the normal
size and at much less cost.
Instead of a less efficient and more costly
system to process 1,000,000 gallons per day [GPD], one of our systems half
the size and at much less cost can produce 500,000 gallons in 12 hours or
1,000,000 gallons in 24 hours.
With the Extended Aeration -- Activate Sludge
System:
·
There is
NO SLUDGE to dispose of.
·
There is
NO ODOR.
·
There is
ONLY MINIMAL MAINTENANCE.
