The Hand Base is made of high quality laminated hardwood [1" x 5.25" x 8.25"] into which the Feed Hopper and Grinder Head are mounted -- with the entire unit then clamped to a countertop, table or bench.
The handle is then inserted for Manual Operation of the grain mill. When operated by hand, the Family Grain Mill will produce 1 cup of Fine Flour in approximately 3 minutes, or a cup of Medium to Coarse Flour in about 2 minutes.
The Family Grain Mill has a 5 cup hopper and will easily grind Wheat, Oats, Rye, Barley, Spelt, Buckwheat, Millet, Rice, Kamut, Spices, Dried Herbs, Sesame, Soybeans, etc. It will grind corn in 2 passes, but cannot grind popcorn since it is too hard and will damage the mill.
The Rotary Adjustment Knob on the front of the Grain Mill allows you to quickly and easily adjust for any grind from Very Fine Flour to Coarse Cracked-Grains.
Unlike most other grinders, the Family Grain Mill products virtually no dust.

The Motorized Family Grain Mill is powered by a Bosch Electric Motor -- with a very low noise level from the motor and mill. Overall Dimensions and Weight with Grain Mill attached to the Drive Motor:

The Flaker Mill uses the same interchangeable Motor Base as the Grain Mill, Grater/Slicer and Meat Grinder - requiring only 1 Motor Base that can be switched back and forth between the 4 separate attachments.
The Flaker Mill easily flakes most small, dry grains for breakfast cereals, snacks, cookies, etc. Make your own oatmeal, or use wheat or other grains for variety. Hard Wheat tends to shatter instead of flaking, but Soft Wheat works well.
Allows you to store Whole Grain -- and produce Fresh Flaked Grain Products as needed.
